ABOUT US

She Speaks. is a group of girls who came together to achieve a common goal: to
empower and educate about what feminism is and the struggles of the modern
woman, provide support and advice, and to provide an outlet and news source for
feminists of all ages and genders. She Speaks. is run by a group of girls aged
16-18 who wish to remain anonymous, and instead write under the name of a
courageous American suffragette that they connect with the most.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
